Referrals are the driving force behind the success of any therapy center. Converting a referral into a visiting patient is an ongoing challenge for a clinic of any size. Imagine if your referrals had the ability to schedule a therapy appointment before they ever left the physician’s office.
Our latest addition to Clinic Controller: Therapy delivers this new functionality in the form of Schedule Link, a kiosk based solution that resides in the physician’s office.
How it Works:
-
The physician refers a patient to your facility and directs them to the Schedule Link kiosk
-
The kiosk prompts the patient to enter their name, phone number, and to identify the primary injury location.
-
Next, if your facility has multiple locations, the kiosk presents the patient with a list of locations along with a map and lets them choose the location that best fits their needs.
-
Schedule Link then contacts your Clinic Controller: Therapy server and, via a customizable algorithm, finds a list of open appointment times. The algorithm takes full advantage of Clinic Controller: Therapy’s integrated schedule and selects the therapists able to deal with the injury, taking patient load and new evaluation requirements into account.
-
After the patient selects an appointment, the kiosk confirms the appointment with your Clinic Controller: Therapy server, prints an appointment confirmation page for the patient complete with map, phone numbers and address of the clinic they will be attending, and alerts the office staff so that they may follow-up.
The kiosk features a touch screen and an easy to use graphical interface which is very similar in look and functionality to the kiosks found in many airports for automated check-in. The Schedule Link kiosk is an add-on to Clinic Controller: Therapy and may be customized to fit your needs and the physical requirements of the physician’s office. The kiosks come in many different sizes and can be made to accommodate many different situations. Please feel free to contact us to discuss how this solution might work best for you.
