A2C Medical is a branch of Aitken and Aitken Consulting, LLC, which was founded by Scott and Adam Aitken. Scott and Adam have been writing software together professionally since 1995, when they worked together at Electronic Advertising, Inc. (eAds). eAds was the first pay-per-click banner advertiser on the internet, and the software systems written by Scott and Adam processed over 10 million banner ads each day.

From eAds, Scott and Adam founded Guiding Light Software, LLC where they created a tool that allows parents to monitor what their children are doing on the internet. This product was sold through the web and America Online (AOL).

In 2001, Scott and Adam were approached by Greater Therapy Centers, Inc., owned in part by Dena Aitken (wife of Adam Aitken), to create a practice management solution for them. Scott and Adam have spent the 2 years working with Greater Therapy Centers, Inc. refining Clinic Controller: Therapy and making it the product it is today. It is the relationship between the developer and the client that has made Clinic Controller: Therapy so great. It is not just a product developed for a client, but rather a tool that we have created to run our own business effectively.
